9:00 a.m.
2460 A.V. Williams Building

This professionally facilitated workshop will explore research opportunities for leveraging data to support the assessment of the risk, reliability, and resilience of engineered systems.

  • Who on campus is using research methods that would help me solve my research problems?
  • Are there existing data sources and resources that would support my research?
  • Do I have data or methods that I would like to share with other researchers?
  • Is my data big?

Organized by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Center for Disaster Resilience, and Center for Risk and Reliability as part of the UMD Year of Data Science Initiative.

This is a two-day workshop. The workshop runs from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM on May 7 and from 9:00 AM-1:30 PM on May 8.
