CRR welcomes back Ruixue Li as a Post-doctoral Researcher!

Dissertation Title: Model-based Safety Analysis

Her work centers on applying and extending a qualitative reasoning AI method, Multilevel Flow Modelling (MFM), to support various safety assessment procedures, including hazard identification, risk analysis, operation support, and maintenance planning. By using functional modeling as a foundation for representing plant behavior and system interactions, she aims to enhance proactive decision-making and digitalization in complex process systems.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering and a Master's degree in Safety Science and Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing. She also earned an international Master of Engineering in Advanced Mineral Resources Development, jointly awarded by the University of Leoben in Austria, TU Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany, and China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of functional modeling, process safety, predictive maintenance, and data-driven applications in hydrogen infrastructure safety and offshore oil and gas systems.
