What drew you to engineering?
"I was drawn to engineering because of its logical nature - how you can make a claim and back it up convincingly. I also love its versatility, seeing how so many things can be explained and interconnected through a few fundamental principles."
What made you choose UMD and the ENRE Reliability Program?
"UMD offers the best and only reliability engineering program in the United States. The program is well-structured and covers a wide range of topics in the field. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the faculty and the community are."
What do you want people to know about Reliability Engineering that they may not be aware of?
"One thing people might not realize about reliability engineering is just how broad the field is. I began my reliability engineering journey with nuclear power plants, and I was surprised by how vast the field is. Now, I'm focused on studying large language models for device durability, which I didn't expect when I first joined this program."
Fun fact about Eunseo: I've been on a quest to find a sport that I want to stick with for the rest of my life.
