What drew you to engineering?

Engineering is a really broad term, and I always thought of it very literally. I realized that "Engineering" offers many avenues for problem solving by applying fundamental theories from things that everyone is exposed to in some shape in their lives including math, economics, ethics, and our physical environment.

What made you choose UMD and the ENRE Reliability Program?

Aside from the fact that our program offers a diverse curriculum from experts and practitioners that are recognized for their contributions, I liked the idea of returning to the place I studied as an undergraduate, and experiencing it in a different way.

What do you want people to know about Reliability Engineering that they may not be aware of?

Reliability Engineering touches a diverse set of problems. As with Engineering as a whole it is not limited by its literal definition; it is a dynamic area of specialty and its impact can be felt in many aspects of everyday life.
