Dr. Mohammad Modarres Presents Keynote at Invite-Only Conference

On December 5, 2019, Dr. Mohammad Modarres presented the keynote talk at the Well Engineering Reliability Workshop in Rio de Janerio, Brazil at the Petrobras R&D Center. The idea of the Well Engineering Reliability Workshop is to reinforce the culture of reliability in the field of well engineering. For more than a decade, we have conducted several reliability assessments as well as physics of failure studies whenever possible. Today, engineers, managers, and regulatory agencies demand a higher level of efficiency, reliability and safety. In this sense, we saw an opportunity to bring everyone (academia and industry) to the same page, by discussing ongoing projects and new requirements to be included in the technical specifications.

The workshop was limited to invitees-only and had an audience of 200 attendees. The workshop was organized by Petrobras R&D.
