ENRE students win Best Paper Awards at multiple conferences

Two ENRE Students, MS Candidate, Sara Lyons, and Ph.D Candidate, Paul Nation, have recently taken home awards for best student papers at multiple conferences.

Sara Lyons won Best Student Paper at the 16th International Probabilistic Safety Assessment in Charleston, NC in May 2019 for her paper "Risk-Informed Acceptance Criteria for Evaluating Leak-Before-Break in Piping Susceptible to Primary Water Stress Corrosion Cracking Degradation."

Paul Nation won Best Paper among all papers presented at the System Engineering Test and Evaluation Conference 2019 (SETE) in April-May 2019 in Canberra, Australia for his paper, "Modeling Continuous-Use System Reliability Growth Utilizing Disparate Source Data." Paul also won 3rd best paper for his second paper at the conference, "Modeling Uncertainty in Reliability Growth Planning for Continuous-Use Systems." Both papers are related to Paul's Ph.D. research.
