From 2000-2018, Dr. Mandelcorn was a System Manager at the University of Maryland Institute for Governmental Services and Research. He has also been engaged in cybersecurity research; specifically analyzing attackers' perspectives, motivation and opportunities to gain new insights on how to better protect critical infrastructures from growing and changing attack profiles.
